Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Oligodon annulifer var. confluens WERNER 1924 has been synonymized with O. petronellae by TILLACK & GÜNTHER 2010. Synonymy mostly after TILLACK & GÜNTHER 2010.

Etymology: de Rooij 1917 does not provide an etymology for Oligodon petronellae.
