CommentSynonymy after PETERS & OREJAS-MIRANDA 1970.

Distribution: Not in Paraguay where it is replaced by Erythrolamprus albertguentheri and E. typhlus (Cacciali et al. 2016). See map in Nogueira et al. 2019.
